ACCESS HAS A FACE-A Road is More Than a Road. It’s Access.

For millions of Americans, public lands represent freedom, adventure, and the opportunity to experience some of our nation’s most spectacular landscapes.

But for people with disabilities, aging Americans, and those with limited mobility, motorized roads and trails can mean the difference between experiencing our public lands and being excluded from them entirely.

At Utah Public Lands Alliance (UPLA), we believe public lands should be accessible to everyone.

That’s why we’re supporting the Outdoor Americans with Disabilities Act (OADA) and launching our new ACCESS HAS A FACE campaign.

Meet the People Behind the Issue

Access isn’t just about roads on a map. It’s about real people and their ability to enjoy the outdoors.

Our campaign features personal stories from advocates like Will and Alyssa, who explain what motorized access means to them and why protecting these opportunities matters.

Their experiences remind us that closing a road doesn’t just remove a line from a map. It can eliminate someone’s opportunity to experience a place they love.

Help Us Protect Access

The Outdoor Americans with Disabilities Act seeks to protect motorized access to public lands for people with disabilities.

We need your help to make that happen.

Visit our new campaign page to:
